I'm Garry Rempel. I received my PhD degree from the University of British Columbia.  After a NRC Postdoctoral Fellowship at Imperial College of Science and Technology, London, with Professor Geoffrey Wilkinson, I joined the University of Waterloo. I am a Fellow of the Chemical Institute of Canada and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada, and I have held the designation of University Professor at University of Waterloo, since 2004. I have authored or coauthored more than 300 publications and am the holder of 35 patents. I am very excited about my research in the field of applied catalysis, green chemical engineerng and advanced rubber technology, and I am priviledged to be working and collaborating with many talented researchers around the world.
